Adoption Perspectives Radio Show – Guest Travis Lloyd
Adoption Perspectives Radio Show
The Adoption Perspectives Radio Show in Denver, Colorado highlights the stories of those impacted by foster care and adoption. They strive to highlight what it is like for people in all aspects including biological parents, adoptive parents, foster parents, professionals, and those who grew up as youth in foster care or adoption.
While in Denver, Colorado for a speaking engagement I had the opportunity to share my story as a youth in the system and discuss my latest book Overcoming Emotional Trauma: Life Beyond Survival Mode.
This interview shares some of the moments of my childhood that shaped who I was as a young adult and who I became as a man.
One of the stories I spoke about during this interview with Adoption Perspectives Radio Show in Denver was a time when a sheriff warned me that I could be charged with assault charges as a 12 year old despite the extreme circumstances of the situation I was in. I trust that you will enjoy this interview and share it with your friends.
